PC Werth Soundfield is a recognized educational tool that can be justified on a number of different counts

PC Werth Soundfield is proved to help with learning access, special needs, language development, staff health & safety, disability, building standards and academic improvement.

Purchasing & Renting

Soundfield is usually purchased outright by schools, or by LAs and PTAs on behalf of Schools. PC Werth have also partnered a specialist school finance company to offer schools the opportunity to rent Soundfield, smoothing cashflow and reducing payments.

For more information on purchasing or renting Soundfield, please contact us.

Please note that all our quotes include full installation, training and support as standard. Because every installation is unique, quotes vary, but PC Werth Soundfield installations prices could start from as little as that of a new computer. For this low investment, the entire class benefits from clearer communication, as well as saving further investment in dedicated multi-media sound systems.

Funding Assistance and Support

Several government initiatives provide funding for the areas where Soundfield is one of the options you should consider:

School Standards Programme

This includes many different school improvement initiatives including the School Development Grant. Schools are free to spend their School Development Grant on any purpose to support improvement in teaching and learning, leading to higher standards of attainment throughout the school.

Local Authority Grants

Includes several funding initiatives that may provide funding for Soundfield installations as part of a strategy of general improvement for your school, including Communication, Language and Literacy Development.

Schools Access Initiative (SAI)

The Schools Access Initiative (SAI) provides funding to mainstream and voluntary aided schools to make them more accessible to disabled children. It can be used to install equipment such as Soundfield to benefit hearing impaired pupils, as well as to support other capital projects that improve the accessibility of schools. Funding is allocated to local authorities and then it is up to each to decide its priorities.

Access To Work

If you feel that your work as a teacher is affected by a voice disability that is likely to last for 12 months or more you can ask the Disability Employement Adviser (DEA) at your local Jobcentre Plus office about Access To Work. There are a variety of ways in which Access To Work can help, including special equipment (or alterations to existing equipment) to suit your particular work needs arising from your disability. PC Werth Soundfield systems can qualify under this scheme.
